Description
This stunning Raku glazed ceramic gargoyle pendant measures approximately 27 x 20mm and is suspended from a black waxed cotton thong necklace. The necklace is approximately 17″ long; all fittings are plated.
People often take the word ‘gargoyle’ to mean all such ornamentation on buildings. In actual fact, for it to be a gargoyle it has to have a water spout. The statues/carvings without waterspouts are called ‘grotesques’.
