Description
This polished lead-free pewter Bast pendant is accented with gold-plating and a blue Swarovski crystal. The pendant measures approximately 30 x 16mm, and is suspended from a matching 18″ chain necklace.
Bast (or Bastet) was the Ancient Egyptian goddess of cats, protection, joy, dance, music, and family. She was also goddess of warfare in Lower Egypt. Bast is usually depicted as a cat or cat-headed woman, often holding a sistrum.
